A Little Bit About Me

I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Hawaii and raised a family. Having grown up in New Jersey makes Hawaii all the more special.
My four grown children, the best thing that ever happened to me (but don't tell them that), inspire me daily in so may ways.

I started in photography when I was 14 (I'm now pretty ancient) when my older sister, and best friend, purchased a Minolta SLR Camera and Zoom lens during her around the world trip in college. The pictures she brought back were jaw droppingly beautiful. She was a natural. She showed me the ins-and-outs of photography and mentored me. I was hooked on film photography.
